This is a smooth & easily adaptable procedure. Those students who have qualified/passed their 10+2 or its equivalent or ones who will be going to sit in the examination of the year 2022 from the Government recognized examination board can apply for this prominent scholarship test. One thing which is important to note down is that Students should must have the non-medical subjects in their class 12th or equivalent, like PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology). The candidate must have passed the final examination of Graduation or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination with 50 % marks in all subject. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination may also appear at MSAT (Primary) - 2022 provisional.


Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st Oct. 1996 are eligible to apply for MSAT (Primary) - 2022. The date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate shall only be considered valid.

Application Procedure

Applicants can apply Online for MSAT (Primary) 2022.


Step 1. Registration at MSAT (Primary)

Applicants are requested to register themselves at MSAT (Primary) with their active Email id and Mobile Number. Once registered, applicants need to confirm their mobile number through OTP.

Step 2: Complete the application form:

Once applicants get registered at MSAT (Primary) can proceed with the registered mobile number and password to complete the application form.

Step 3. Photograph & ID Proof:

Applicants have to upload their scanned copy of a recent color photograph in .jpg / .jpeg and .png format only and fill the ID Proof.

Step 4. Application Fee Structure:

The applicants must fill up their application forms, pay fees and submit them online. Applicants have to pay their examination fee as mentioned below online through Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking or any other medium updated on the webpage.

Application fee (Including GST) for foreign applicants - $40 /-

Step 5. Submission of application form:

Applicants have to submit their duly filled up application form online by clicking the submit button.

Correction in filled application form:

You may edit all the incorrect details in the filled application form, from 1st to 4th April 2022 timings will be 10:00 AM - 11:59 PM.


Applicants are required to go through certain below mentioned procedure to seek admission in any of the MSAT (Primary) participating Institutes for the Academic Year 2022-2023.

Step 1.

It is mandatory to appear at the MSAT (Primary) examination for admission in MSAT (Primary) participating institutes. The applicants can apply by online mode only.

Step 2.

All the applicants, who are applying for MSAT (Primary) - 2022, have to take a written test. The successful applicants would be invited for a counseling round.

Step 3.

All the eligible applicants have to appear at the counseling round for admission in which they would get an option to choose an institute and a desired branch.

After filling all the choices, applicants will get 5 choices of institutes finally and they have to choose one amongst them.

The counseling shall be conducted after the declaration of result. Here, it is noteworthy that the attendance at the counseling is mandatory to avail this facility.


It is after the Counseling round that the candidates shall be provided application receipts. The selected applicants have to report to the institute in person on the given date and time with the admission receipt and original documents required for further proceedings.


Online Examination

Instructions for the Online Examination

NOTE: If you submit your test and confirm, you CANNOT take the test again.

  1. There will be 150 questions in your test
  2. You can only enter the test 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time, however the “Start test” button will be enabled at the scheduled start time, and you must click the same to start the test
  3. You may see “Elapsed Time” which indicates that the test time has already been started
  4. Please read each question twice before answering.
  5. The pattern of the examination shall be objective type based and there will be multiple choice questions with four options having single correct answer
  6. Each correct answer carries four marks
  7. For each incorrect response, one forth (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted.
  8. No deduction from the total score will be made if no response is indicated for an item in the test.
  9. There is a timer on the top right-hand side which indicates the remaining time.
  10. Only one question will be displayed on the computer screen at a time
  11. Click “Next” button at the bottom of the screen for moving to the next question
  12. You can navigate through the questions back and forth by clicking “Previous” or “Next” button
  13. You may also click the respective question number on the right hand side panel to reach that question
  14. You can toggle to any of the sections from the right-side navigation menu
  15. Section instructions will also be available both in the right-side navigation menu OR in the header for the current section
  16. Questions can be answered in any order within the given time
  17. Status of all questions will be displayed on the right hand side panel giving a snapshot of how many questions have been ‘Attempted’, ‘Skipped’, ‘Marked for Review’
  18. You can attempt un-attempted questions or review attempted questions anytime during the test
  19. You can change your answers before clicking the “End Test" button
  20. Click the “Submit Test” button at the bottom right corner when all the questions are answered
  21. You will not be able to re-enter the exam once the test has been submitted
  22. A reconfirmation screen will appear. Click “OK” to submit the test
  23. In case you are disconnected during the test, you may log in to the same URL with the Unique Test Key generated for the test


The entrance examination will be conducted online, offline or both, consisting of three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology bearing equal weightage in terms of questions and marks. There shall be objective type questions.

There are four slots of MSAT (Primary) examination that having 3 hours of time duration. The applicant can select only one of the below-mentioned examination slots in their respective application form.

Timing would be same for Indian and foreign applicants.


The Centre for the Online examination for the foreign & NRI students will be mentioned on the Admit Card.


  1. The use of electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, etc. is not permitted in MSAT (Primary) - 2022.
  2. Materials like log table, book, notebook, etc. should not be brought into the examination hall.
  3. Applicants must bring the admit card along with identity proof to the examination center.
  4. The candidates shall not be permitted to take the exam if admit card and valid photo identification is not presented.
  5. It may be noted that you should have specified one of the following IDs: Driving License, Passport, or School / College ID Card.


All eligible candidates can attend the online counselling of All India Engineering Entrance Scholarship Examination (MSAT) – 2022 for admission in top government approved and NAAC/NBA/NIRF accredited MSAT(Primary) participating colleges. You are advised to read the instructions carefully:

During the counselling process, you have to follow 3 simple steps details of which are given below:

Step 1. First of all, you have to login counselling section of the website where you would find approx. 1000 top government approved and NAAC/NBA/NIRF accredited MSAT(Primary) participating colleges according to your All India Engineering Entrance Examination (MSAT) – 2022 marks/ percentage.

Step 2. Now, you select at least 25 and maximum 50 colleges along with branches according to your choices out of the options given to you and submit the online counselling fee. Online counselling fee would be adjusted with your first-year college fee and if you withdraw from it for any other reason, it would be refunded to you.

Step 3. Submitting step 2 successfully, you would again log in after 5 working days and download the admission receipt.

Admission receipt: Whichever college and branch you select according to your choice; please note that it will be our sincere effort to provide you with the college and course of your choice. The admission receipt contains the name of the college and other details.


Verification of Documents: Carry with you the photocopy of your 10th and 12th or Equivalent marks sheets, 10 + 2 provisional certificates, School Leaving certificate, migration certificate & four recent color passport size photographs at the time of admission. Also, carry the original documents of all certificates for verification purposes only.

About Scholarship

The Scholarship Program provides a financial award to students for their Higher Education in India. The award is available for all qualified students, irrespective of the applicant's caste, community, gender, religion or Country.

To qualify for a scholarship, an applicant must apply for MSAT (Primary) - 2022. We award merit-based scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate (Medical & Paramedical) degrees in India.

The objective of the program is to encourage outstandingly meritorious/deserving students to pursue academic excellence. The program gives an excellent opportunity to students, to live their engineering dreams.

Students who wish to pursue engineering as a career must not miss this and apply immediately in order to reap the benefits of this rare opportunity. These entrance scholarships are for students who will be studying under the scholarship program of MSAT (Primary) - 2022 for an undergraduate degree starting in 2022.

The scholarships will be awarded as a tuition fee (up to full four years tuition fees) for each year of the student's undergraduate studies and will be awarded on the basis of merit.

The least scholarship for all qualified students is a “Standard Laptop” which will be provided just after the completion of admission process in MSAT (Primary) participating institutes.


The qualified candidates have to attend the online counselling of MSAT (Primary) - 2022, at which they will get an option to choose the institute and branch.

After the seat allocation and admission process through the counselling of MSAT (Primary), candidates have to be physically present at the allotted institute for submission and verification of original educational documents/certificates.

After the completion of the admission process, qualified candidates would be facilitated by scholarship. Please note that all documents and certificates are duly correct.

No backlogs shall be considered and if candidate furnishes incorrect, false or misguiding information, the candidate shall be considered at fault and his or her candidature shall be cancelled.

Note: If any candidate is found ineligible for admission at a later stage, his or her admission stands null and void in the allotted institute and scholarship will be cancelled.

Section A: Students securing 85% or above marks in MSAT (Primary) are eligible for scholarship (Tuition fee for full 4 years) for studying in any of Govt. approved MSAT (Primary) participating institutes.

Section B: Students securing marks more than or equal to 75% and less than 85% in MSAT (Primary) are eligible for scholarship (Tuition fee for 1 year) for studying in any 1000 Govt. approved MSAT (Primary) participating institutes.

Section C: Students securing marks less than 75% in MSAT (Primary) are eligible for scholarship (Standard Laptop) for studying in any 1000 Govt. approved MSAT (Primary) participating institutes.

Note: It is mentioned in the above table that each successful candidate is eligible for a scholarship of at least a standard laptop as stated in section “C”, which will be made available to all qualifying applicants of MSAT (Primary) – 2022.


  1. The applicants, who are applying for MSAT (Primary) and qualify in the examination with rank up to 1000 in MSAT (Primary), have to apply for counseling of MSAT (Primary) online.
  2. They have to follow the procedure of counseling to get an option to choose the institute and desired branch. The scholarship would be provided after completion of the admission process in the allotted institutes.
  3. In about 2nd or 3rd week of October, applicants have to register for scholarship i.e. they have to apply for registration which will be announced on the 2nd or 3rd week of October 2022 on the website. The duration of applying for registration will be 2 weeks only.
  4. Applicants will receive scholarships in the month of December in their own/personal active bank accounts only. During registration of scholarship, applicants have to mention their own bank accounts details.
  5. For getting scholarship, applicants must have their own active bank accounts.
